Starting Points
People from all colleges with a range of interests and experience levels are encouraged to explore our ecosystem and get involved. If you're new to entrepreneurship at Illinois – or reconnecting as an alum – here are some basic ways you can learn more about the ecosystem and plug in.

Anyone on Campus
- Visit the Illinois Makerlab, Fab Lab, or Siebel Center for Design to begin imagining how various tools and materials could help turn your ideas into something tangible.
- Attend an Entrepreneurial Workshop at EnterpriseWorks in Research Park.

Students
- Schedule an appointment to talk with a mentor at the Technology Entrepreneur Center.
- Check out a student organization like Founders: Illinois Entrepreneurs or EntreCorps.

Faculty & Staff
- Look into taking a Lean Launchpad Short Course to learn how to think about your innovation ideas from a business and customer perspective.
- Attend an SBRI 101 Workshop offered through the FAST Center (Federal and State Technology).
