Intern Professional Development Workshop Series: Stress Management
|Time:||12 p.m. - 1 p.m.|
EnterpriseWorks atrium, 60 Hazelwood Drive, Champaign
|Event Type:||Professional Development|
What is stress? What are the things we stress about? How does stress affect my well-being? In this psychoeducational workshop, Graduate Assistants Ademola Akinrinola and Matt King at the University of Illinois Counseling Center will address these questions and provide an overview of what research says about ways to cope with stress. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how stress impacts one's life, learn stress management techniques, and how to develop resiliency.
Matt is an aspiring psychologist and current doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
This year, food will only be served from 12-12:15PM, followed by a 40 minute presentation, giving interns ample time to return to their offices by 1PM.
